Lookbook - SHE
What to wear when we go to the mountains in winter?
For people with some experience the answer is simple.
Others may have lots of doubts, though.
If you are going to spend winter holidays actively in the mountains, we have some tips on what you need to take with you.
We are also presenting some inspirations for winter outfits. After all, you don’t have to look boring when skiing!!
This year the slopes are going to be dominated by intense colours, so don’t be afraid to go crazy!
While choosing your winter clothes, don’t forget about their functionality. They have to be lightweight, breathable, thermal and windproof.
Remember that the best strategy is to wear many layers! When it gets too hot, we regulate our temperature by removing them one by one.
Below we present you a few layers that you should never leave at home:
You can find plenty of those in shops. Remember that it must be tight so it fulfils its task. If you have a problem which one to choose, you can find a person who will advise you in every shop.
As far as the colour is concerned, let your imagination run wild.
Fleece jackets and other sweatshirts.
They have to be comfortable so that they do not restrict your movements.
If you use a helmet while playing sports, a hoodie will be a good choice. It will give you more comfort and keep you warm.
For mountain climbing, choose fleece jackets with an extended back. This will protect your kidneys when you move your arms up.
A zipped fleece jacket will be perfect for hiking. 🙂
Jackets and trousers, meaning clothes that will protect us directly from wind and cold.
Trousers with braces will work best. A few examples of those can be found in our lookbook. They are comfortable and when you choose the right colour – stylish as well!
Jackets must be waterproof. Choose a lightweight model, preferably with a hood.
As far as hands go – there are gloves, of course. But they don’t have to be black! Go crazy with the colours – it is always a good idea for winter and sports outfits. 🙂
And a colourful cap with a pompom. We say no to anything boring!
Don’t forget about snowboarding and skiing accessories – goggles are a must! Those in the colour of your jacket will look fantastic. 🙂
And if you need sports equipment, talk to professionals. They will choose the right models suited to your height.
Happy winter holidays! Be inspired by the colourful outfits below and find something special for yourself!
